Trackday Pics

hiho, the galley doesn't work for me :/
it just keeps going to a page with all the hmtl pages in a list rather than the pictures :(

Trackday photography is difficult. It's all too easy to snap hundreds of photos of the cars from the same angle and at the end of the day you end up with loads of images that all look the same.

Focus on getting 1 or 2 photos of each car that are stunning and after ½ hour move to a new location and try different angles etc

Thats some good advice, we did have an issue with the sun - it was very low for a long time and made lots of the track unusable for shots. I did find at the start of the day i was trying to photo every car as it came round but soon picked on an individual car and this gained much better results. First time on a 70-200 so bit of a learning curve for me, had a go on a 100-400 aswell. Seemed a nice lens but pics that looked stunning in pc185s lcd on the 20d where badly out of focus on the pc. I am sure its just practise with the lens but took the shine of using such a nice bit of kit !

Site does seem to playing up a bit, i shall forward it to the web monkeys ;)
