I found out I got another Uncle a couple months ago. My Dad was adopted just after WW2 as his mum had her pasty smashed by a Canadian soldier (she got mounted by a mounty?).

About 20 years ago he tracked down his bio-Mum (shortly before she died) he gave up at that point as it seemed a cold trail. But out the blue his brother contacted him and they met up, they are not even sure if they got the same Dad lol.

I was contacted last year by someone I'd not been in touch with for a long time. We used to be good friends, I was his Best Man when he got married.

I moved away, he moved away, we lost contact.

When he contacted me last year I asked what he'd been up to and he told me he'd spent time inside. When I googled his name and where he lived I discovered he'd done time for grooming young girls!

Needless to say, I didn't make any more contact, blocked him from everywhere I could and put filters on email to ensure I heard nothing more. He used to be a good friend but I can't associate myself with potential fiddlers
