Ordered MacBook Pro - Low-end 15" model with Hi-Res screen - said up to 3 business days for shipping:

-Ordered 1/12/10 (Wednesday).
-Shipped 4/12/10 (Saturday) (Pretty sure it's from Ireland).
-Estimated delivery 17th December.
-'In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule -9th December 2010' 6/12/10 (Monday)

The date of 9th December 2010 would make sense if it changed to that today.. but it's been like that for the past 3 days. What does that date mean?

-Order in Transit email 6/12/10 (Monday)
-Billed on the 7/12/10
-Sent billing document via email 8/12/10

It doesn't give a carrier number or assigned carrier, it just says 'In transit to final destination - carrier details to be updated shortly'.

Also, on the order page it has:

Any ideas where it would be now?

Have you tried copying the tracking number into a courier website? Try TNT and UPS.

EDIT - in fact, if you click on that tracking number at the bottom of the second image, does it take you to a courier website?

Apple used UPS 3 weeks ago when my wifes MBP arrived. Though the web site was very slow to update. If you give them a ring which I had to do they are very good and will do every thing they can to find out exactly whats happening with you order. The lady I spoke to said "ok its upddated hiot refresh on your web browser" I did this and there was all the shipping details with a UPS tracking number.

The 3 business days relates to when it will be dispatched from Apple - not the time frame within which you will receive the item.

I ordered a MBA last week which also stated 3 business days - Ordered on 6th - Dispatched from China on 9th - Delivery date 15th.

So expect that sort of time frame for delivery.

That's about right. I always allow for 2 weeks when ordering a BTO machine.

The "estimated delivery date" is only when it leaves Apple.
