TrackIR, am I missing something?

I find it's a bit odd for driving games - I find I need a fixed viewpoint in order to sense if/how the car is sliding. It's invaluable for flight sims though. Definitely worth it.

I've had a trackir for years, and it feels very natural, even from the moment you put it on for the first time.

I was very sceptical myself, until I tried it out at some electronics expo. After 30 seconds of trying it out I bought one.

It works, and I dare say I'd never play any flight sim again without one. I cannot put into words how much better this makes any simmer's experience, particularly for combat sims, but also for driving sims. Being able to look out to the side when approaching corners etc. and glancing to see where your opponent is, is just simply awesome.
