There's no official date yet. Some people are hopeful that it might come around September. I'm not yet sold on it coming this year. Definitely high on my most anticipated list.

Download the new solo campaign: StarTrack!
This week, Nadeo make available to all TrackMania United owners an all new solo campaign, StarTrack. With more than 140 new, progressively difficult tracks, this campaign is the perfect opportunity to test your limits on the different TrackMania environments!

TrackMania United will download automatically this update next time you will launch the game. However, if you wish, you may also manually download this new campaign through the link below:

I wondered what the ''star edition'' meant in my steam list, I really didn't notice they added new tracks .

Yep Tm2 has been in developement for 3 years allready so this year we should see it i hope.

I think TM2 ain't due til 2011 It says that on the Wiki anyway, with Trackmania Wii due around April-June time....

Yea but Trackmania wii is being developed by a british company for nadeo so that nadeo can work on tm2
so i still believe tm2 is due this year

Last rumour I heard was that closed beta was being done first half of this year, so prob looking at an Xmas release.....

do it, its my game of all time, gets played atleast 3 times a week

if you go onto the TM2 forum there are lots and lots of infos about the game, and possible dates etc etc

Just a heads up for those following the game. So Nadeo have updated www.trackmania2.com with a simple 'Coming Soon.....VERY Soon' and have started releasing screenshots in the most absurd way:

Each time you log into Trackmania United, you will randomly get a puzzle piece. Over on the tm2 forum the community are uploading these pieces to then make the new image. The one on friday was this one and this one is the one being made (so may have holes, it's being made up at the moment!)
