Trackmania 2

Bit late to the game but got a voucher for it with my i5 so figured I'd give it a go!

Can't seem to login once the game starts up - it doesn't think my account exists when I can login with it on TMU/F ... is a new account needed or am I not seeing what's wrong?

/haven't read the entire thread btw!

Make a new account but with the exact same username and password as TMU/F.

Going to be updating the track list this evening (time permitting).

What type of tracks would people prefer.

I like the "Puzzle" tracks but am aware we need to keep it a mixed bag so will include some of the speed tracks too.

I quite like the shorter tracks too. Around the 30sec mark I find that there's lots more room for improvement, with the longer ones I often find I can be doing really well for most of it, then there's one bit at the end I mess up meaning I don't get a good time, and you only get to try that end bit a few times before the map rotates.

Which jump is impossible?

:D

Probably not impossible, but infuriatingly hard :)

It goes to show the quality of the track when I've stopped playing it to post this reply then I'm going right back to it again. I'm talking about the last jump..i cant seem to carry enough speed onto the final turbo jump to get me over the gap to the finish.

Good effort though..just the right length I thought

Cheers mate, You need to nail the two drifts and I think you can just get the last turn in without drift, 2 seconds I will try again.

edit:

Yeah you can make that last turn without the drift, Should see you right, If you press enter when you miss the jump you will start at the drift section and can learn it from there pretty easy. :)

I was hoping you were going to say it was impossible..now I know it isn't I cannot rest until I've completed it :D

Good luck, Shouldn't take you long :)

I have a 1.28 on the track, But I know for a fact someone with some skill could easy knock that down by some way.

Is it worth buying a controller to play this game? Just using the keyboard at the moment but its quite tricky

So does this "feel" like its worth £20?

I bought tmuf for £20 and its got loads of game modes, whereas this only has 1.

Well I paid £20 for it and have had a load of fun with it. I have spent most of my time online playing custom maps, which is something I didn't really bother with in TM1.

The only thing that made me think a little about the price was the fact that codes go for less on the MM from the intel deals.
