I downloaded it of Steam last night... it the whole game or what? Aint played it yet... watched the Ad for it whilst it downloaded and it didnt convince me

TrackMania nations is a single environment and basically a demo for TrackMania United (which can be had for £5)

And give it some time, they are messing with the servers ATM. Im getting unknown group errors whilst logged into the group on the website! And there are wuite a few people in the group too

update, unfortunately they do not work after installing SP1 and possibly earlier updates. MS have removed the ability to disable driver signing....

There is still a way, can't remember its name but there's a program that messes with the bootloader and emulates the keystrokes needed to disable it manually.

I'm addicted to this now, so I had to go buy the full version. I have a question, how exactly do all these boards and points systems work. Like the Nations leader board, are there really that many players who dont have many medals, or is it judged in part on time.

You get ladder points when playing online.

Ive had United for months and havent really done many medals, just played online!

Have you played the offline races? You get a points score for each one based on how good your time is compared to everyone else who's played it.
