Trackmania Nations Keys

Is there any way to rediefine the keys in TM Nations as the current config is doing my head in and I can't get my Gamepad to set to other keys.

yes, not in the pop up menu before the game loads, but if you go to edit profile iirc its in there on the top right.
i change the layout of my pad with ease
