Trading the stockmarket (NO Referrals)

If you don't have much to invest the absolute last thing you should do is pick a couple of tech companies and hope it works out.

If you are not a professional doing this full time (and have a portfolio of stocks) then picking stocks is just gambling and should be done for fun. Yes you can try and pick companies based on fundamentals or expectations of the next boom technology, but you have to accept losses.

e.g., Nvidia is down 15% in the last 5 days

If you actually want to invest and grow and not risk loosing significant money you need to be diversified
Oh no I've got a few things not just Nvidia but yes you are right don't want all your eggs in one basket

You shouldn't even be investing in just a few companies. This is a quick way to make a loss.

VT covers about 10,000 of the largest company by market cap - this directly gives you a well diversified portfolio for passive investing

Phone lit up yesterday with alerts; that price points had been hit. ADA, XRP being mentioned by Trump allowed me to cash out at a decent profit. As soon as ADA hit like 50% increase i dipped out. Appears to dropped today.

Is that vanguard total after a quick Google? What's the best way to invest into it?

Don't want to keep going down the rabbit hole if I'm already doing it wrong.

Thanks for pointing out it to me

yes, vanguard total world.

There are other similar all world trackers. The main characteristic is you are not making any bets on particular countries or industries so the volatility and risks are lower. It is still heavily weighted to the US, just based on market cap of companies. The good thing is it automatically adjusts

ETFs like this are basically your 1 stock portfolio for passive investing where you need minimal input.

Just buy it from your stoke broker. No magic to it. Set a buy limit half way between buy and ask prices and purchase during trading hours. You can never predict stock market timing so there are literally no tricks, otherwise the market would already leverage any such advantage.

There ETFs appear on my InteractiveBrokers account but the spread is insane (80%) so i have no idea what ia going on there. And they are not very transparent on their website
