Barc I saw but wasnt sure about either but then I never am so I just have to say well I dont mind holding or with yell I cant bring myself to say that so I 'miss out'.
Barc was bottom of its channel or recent range, after such a move its now near the top. See how the price peaked and retracted quickly, on monday and yesterday
Lloyds rose even faster, barc pays a div though
Markets have been extreme recently but in total just now sideways. Again its hard to say which way it'll go
I have a colleague who bought Cairn Energy at 17p and still owns them at 450p.

I thought I got lucky just randomly buying them at 200 without realising they were anything that special. Questor tipped them
HMV Im told is good, again not my kind of thing but apparently good div backed by 1.6 times earnings? I'll stick to tesco
SKR rose after I sold, I misjudged the momentum slightly though I was roughly correct on 30 being at least a short term sticky point.
Not really going to kick myself there though 35p over 29p is a substantial extra I could have had, realistically Im just grateful for anything as these markets make me dizzy
Sold some BP at 417p too, I accidentally overbought a bit. error in my favour
Averaging I can sympathise with, it can be good in theory. Maybe the main point is you have to treat each time considering the share and has anything changed, is the market wrong or am I. At some point you got to figure out why you got the timing wrong to start off with or whatever, price isnt value but traders dont make money on theories.
Averaging has worked best for me with a fund or tracker, then I can worry less. Averaged into asia pacific and it like doubled from the lows
EMED doing ok but I remain slightly less optimistic on it going to 14 from 8 or whatever. This market is bullish now so depends on that I guess, anything will go up if people are buying everything
