What's the tax implications for high earners? I know there is a stocks and shares ISA. But I can't use that as I'm already paying in to a cash ISA

If I'm using the trading 212 invest option. Do I get taxed ?.

You can have a stocks and shares ISA and a cash ISA as long as you don't put more than £20k a year in total across both - I have both.

You could open 20,000 ISAs if you want and put a quid into each of them. Not that you would, but you could!

I'v only got 4k left of this years allowance.

I would have to take some out of cash ISA and start the s&s ISA to do that or wait till next year

If you use the invest (non s&s ISA option) and invest in s&p500

How do they calculate the tax ? PSA ? Is it likely to be a lot if I saved £300 a month ? Given im on higher tax band

Just one example off the top of my head... Edifier active speakers are chinese... I could spend all day listing things like that but I suspect you don't want't to hear it! :D
yea and they arent a good speaker brand, its low end mass market stuff, so proves my point.

you could have said Xiaomi the phones are spyware filled trash though.

The one I bought a few years back, even the stock apps had app unless you used a PC programme to delete all the spyware crap on the phone.

Yes the mind boggles at how people make it to higher rate tax but are forever asking stupid questions in here that a quick google could answer.
Does that mean I can ask stupid questions cus I'm lower rate?

What's the stock market again?

Honest advice here (even though myself and others like to take the **** at your posts and lack of financial planning and car buying antics  )

You really really need to sit down with a financial adviser, especially if you're a higher rate earner.

This has been going on for over a week. He's had enough financial advice to start a hedge fund with a 50p coin, but he just sits there going "is now a good time to buy?"

If he's just gonna keep ignoring all the advice people give him and repeatedly ask the same stupid questions then there's nothing else to do but make memes instead.

Good lord, I never realised it was him :D

If ever I become that utterly useless at making decisions, please put a bullet in my brain.

We can offer a more humane option if euthanasia is legalised in England, however you must be sure! Don't ask repeatedly :P
