Watched one episode... was good.

Big Fan of Road Wars here... our company does all of Thames Valleys Vehicle recoveries... fun when they think i'm wierd for recognising their shoulder numbers...

That's incredible observation/memory

Is your vehicle control room private owned and contracted by the police then? I thought it was part of the police/public sector

We're private, we deal with about 20 Police forces at the moment, cant go much detail.. some forces do it in house, but some contract out to private companies, we do a couple of other things for various forces, including maintaining a keyholder database as well as an emergency boarding scheme.

It's probably just a private contractor with a load of flatbed lorries. West answers the phone

We're sorta the middleman, police contact us, we contact a garage thats close to where the incident is and we task them and monitor the recovery... meaning the police dont have to.

or the ones where nice fast bikes say by by to pc plod
