Traffic Cops

it's her own fault for not noticing there was a police car behind her at the lights.
she didn't even notice him flashing at her for about 5 minutes anyway :p

Did anyone else think the 3 points for the red light jumping was a bit harsh?

They showed a reply and she was JUST before the line when it turned red. Her slamming on her brakes then wouldn't off been a great idea?!

I don't know if you've noticed, but you see the middle orange light? Comes on just before the red to let you know ;)

a) Thats what amber is for. It means stop.
b) She was so dosey she didn't even notice the cop car trying to pull her over.

She deserved it :p

I'm happy she got a talking to. She is the sort of driver who you know will coast along at 40 everywhere, 'oblivious' to whats going on...

:(

maybe points will make her a bit more aware?

As regards the police not going in the water after the chap who fell in, they had perfectly valid reasoning in my opinion, they risked another life being lost and had no idea where the chap was, the water was also upto 10ft deep in places, the chances of finding him out without help were pretty remote. Im pretty sure that some of the officers would have been upset that they could go in beforehand and try and help.

I think the fines were way to low for the drink drivers, and the ban lengths were quite small aswel.
I think that lady who ran the red light (only just) just deserved a shouting at as her car was actualy moving when the light went red and she would have had to do an Estop to stop in time, but I do think she deserved the points for not seeing a freaking police car tailing her with lights on, and she was generally a rubbish driver.

Also the chavs on the mopehead got off way to lightly. i fail to see why I pay out my insurance every year when the fine for not having it is much lower than the insurance premium!
