Have prices gone up slightly for September or some railcard conditions changed?

The same journey I did today is a different price tommorow. Well the price I paid today is there with "Anytime Day Return" in the same place, but the service I need is now excluded from it and the only option is to pay a bit more for another Anytime Day Return.

Errr everything went up in January, you been living in a cave??

I paid £8.40 for a Anytime Any London Station day return today! Boom boom! I hate train companies.

Yes, I said September... price I paid today appears to be different tommorow. Not January.

Hmm, they're due their midyear fare rise on 4th September as far as I'm aware. At least, that's the date when the "through prices to NR locations" rise from LUL stations.

Just worked out why from reading railcard website. Minimum fare does not apply during July and August, so its hiked up because of that. £1 more to drive and have a guaranteed seat... it's tempting :(
