Following on (well not really) from the bus prices thread moaning about the cost we have the train prices...
I've just gone to book a train ticket and seen the prices. Singles from my town to Plymouth are £60+, and a return is now £62.70. Last month it was £52, so a nice jump of £10 and 20% in a month!
I know they rise but usually a couple of pounds a year, but I assume as mentioned the train companies have somehow got to make back the money they are "loosing" from reducing the restricted tarrif tickets.
