I use to work for the company they pay to make the tutorials - http://drstudios.co.uk/train2game/
it seems as though the 'front' (which is a different company, just to be explicit) is rather dodgy though:
it seems a bit strange that they would pay DR Studios for tutorials, and then just copy/paste from some website though

http://forum.ready-up.net/topic.php?id=795Celeste its not that the course isnt for me its just that I would be weary of any company thats owned by Jan Telensky as he owns Skillstrain who are known for charging people a fortune for out of date courses.
And here's the latest bit of proof from the same digital trends thread that i posted earlier;

Hi
Just wanted to let everyone know, I am a member of the train to game scheme as it was sold to me a while back.
It has now been 20 days and still no pack after the promised 10-15 days wait.
In the welcome pack all the lessons exactly copied word for word, picture for picture from the tutorials on the GameMaker website, and as you all know GameMaker is freeware and completely independent, surely for all my cash they can write their own not copy it word for word other then just putting 'the train2game' everytime it says 'Game Maker'.
Surely this is copyright infringment?
And heres for the put proof that this is a scam!!!!
They offer you a loan, credit etc. The salesman advertises it as a loan, the paperwork confirms they call it a loan. so why are they, nor any of the other companies they call themselves are registered with the FSA. This is very illegal and they can be and will be after enough report it, be fined hundreds of thousands of pounds! They bring a 'Barclays' credit application form which is not from 'Barclays Bank PLC' as they say. They say they will give you a 0% loan, now why would Barclays do that? Have you ever heard of a bank giving money for free because they want to? The form is fake and looks nothing like any barclays bank application forms i have ever seen. they phone up making a credit check even though they need a signed form to legally do this. they are not registered with experian so they cannot gain credit reports, and they ask the incorrect information to gain a credit report. they do all this to make you think they are legit only to say you have been declined with barclays but conveniently been excepted with 'careers development finance' which after much research have discovered that they are part of the same company as t2g (which has been confirmed from the salesman).
But remember it is illegal for them to lend money without being registered with the FSA, seriously illegal! check it all out yourselves.
I was so excited abouth this course but am now seriously dissapointed.
So this has to be a Scam!
Please give me replys because i would love to here you feedback ESPECIALLY FROM THE T2G STAFF!
If you want ti personal message me that is fine.
Thanks for reading
Phil
