Trainers for an interview?

oh and to add I don't think trainers are suitable for a job behind a bar either, at the very least wear shoes on 1st night until you see what others are wearing

generally bars arent transparent and you could be barefoot and no one would know :S

i wonder how many people have gone to interviews with a suit and converse shoes :D

Suit, tie, shirt and smart shoes are a must whatever the job may be in any of the service industries, local authority, retail & food etc.

You simply spec the cut of the suit, style of tie, shirt and shoes to the type of job. Creative job then you need more flair in your tie / shirt / shoe combo, engineering job then razor sharp formal wear. Power tie or PR tie?

You would only deviate from the above for jobs requiring hands on work such as a bricklayer, builder, gardener, farm hand etc
