Tramlining

I have no idea what this means. So what is it and how do you remedy it? Cheers.

In that case my car tramlines a lot. 225/40/18 eagle assymetrics, follow the road a hell of a lot.

How do you remedy it then? By getting a proper geometry set up? Been meaning to do this, but selling the car hopefully tomorrow so no point now.
