As title guys, our trampoline has algi growing on it. What's the best way to get rid? Tried some Bayer Algi Remover from HomeBase but it really didn't work. Tried a Karcher this evening; that worked but put a hole in the fabric :(

If the pressure washer put a hole in the fabric I would not be letting my kids anywhere near that trampoline! How old is it?

Algae* Honestly you lot. :p

Pressure washer on a lower setting? :p

Also as above, if a jet of water puts a hole in it, are you sure you want a few stones of child jumping around on it?

Costco sell gallon bottles of stuff called Wet & Forget. You just spray it on and leave it and it gets rid of the algae.

Wet & Forget = benzalkonium chloride

it's a biocide, £5 from a chemical supply shop or eBay,
or £35 in a branded bottle.

assuming its the same algae I get on my convertible car roof I tried loads of "specialist" stuff and they didn't do much

some web research came up with Milton baby bottle sterilising tablets

about £2 for a big boxful, use 1 in 2litre of water, not only does it remove it but it kills the spores and stops it coming back
