Thought i'd hold off posting this till the lineup was announced and out on here so here we go!

Righty so my first trance event ever - been around a year since I first got into it and really just can't stop listening to it :) Love the 2008 sets - great stuff - Mark Sherrys, Erno v. B's, Ferry C's - brilliant :D So i've got 3 tickets booked - can't wait.

And what do people think about the lineup? Not as spectacular as last years? Absolutley gutted that there's no Tiesto or Ferry C - oh well :( Armin and PvD - ouh i'm in for a treat! Marcel Woods should be good, wasn't too keen on his set last year but I do love Advanced! TyDi, Fausto - tech house? :confused: Aly & Fila - wow! Rank1, Joop, Jochen Miller all good. Classics - few unknowns for me there. Judge Jules on first on the high contrast stage... bit of a groan, /facepalm for me there i'm afraid.

Anyone else going then?

If you're going to the Netherlands, especially Amsterdam then go to Sensation, the biggest and best trance/house event in the world. Listen to the 08 set, it's just awesome.

I went to global gathering this year which was wicked but am definitely looking to get out of the UK for the next big one, and probably going to get a ticket to sensation... the biggest of them all :D

Notable DJ's that have appeared at Sensation include André Tanneberger, Armin van Buuren, Darren Emerson (one of the Underworld members), David Guetta, Erick E, Erick Morillo, Ferry Corsten, Marco V, Paul van Dyk, Johan Gielen, Sander Kleinenberg, Steve Angello, Tiësto, Fedde Le Grand, Mason, Felix Da Housecat, Laidback Luke , Tocadisco and Rank 1.

Not been to any of the events but if the albums (sensation white/black) are anything to go by I would agree completely, they're in a different league to most of the 'UK' albums in my view.

Love it. Lot less techy and 'jumpy' than the anthems years before.. advanced, thrill, the future etc... but still got lots of energy :)

Is that Rank1's new production? If so, yes love it to bits!

I know a few people going to TE, not sure I'll be able to afford it but would love to go!
 
This sounds pretty damn good to be honest! It would be cool to hold an OcUK gathering, as mentioned. Just depends on the timing tbh, would peeps be looking just to spend the weekend there? I have weekday commitments, so would only be able to go for just the weekend.
