Hi, I was hoping to get some help with a song, its this on here in the link..


i was hoping some trance veterans will be able to recommend me a CD, or even just some songs similar to this one? i.e upbeat.

Well here are some options:

Go to di.fm and then listen to either the trance channel/vocal trance channel/chillout channel that should enable you to build up a picture of simular artists and then take it from there.

Goto Youtube do a simple search for uplifting trance/trance/progressive trance etc see what you think ?

I dunno.

Listened to an ASOT from 2 weeks ago and EVERY track was instantly forgettable and bland.

Listened to the TATW from the same week and it had a fair few tracks that I now plan to buy.

Armin is losing it imo.

I'm not a big trance fan anymore, all of it is too washy, most of the recent stuff i've listened too is too soft. Suppose thats kinda standard since most of the nights I goto now are Hardstyle to Hardcore but I think the energy in the new hardcore stuff is getting better, where as trance is dying.

Also all the best trance songs get turned into awesome hardcore tracks, like.....


And moving on to speedcore :D

Lies, he still uncovers some great unknown Trance Producers before anyone else does! Might aswell go listen to Judge Jules on a Friday night if you think Armins losing it! Tiesto's certainly no better :D
 
bring back the days of binery finery in clubs full blast :) an the good old PVD


if you like trance go find /buy

GATECRASHER Blue / Aqua (about 1999 /2001) now that is some very very good classic trance tracks

Finding good producers isnt the same as him being on the ball, wouldnt pay to see tiesto or jules ever.

No Tiesto is the worst of all the big names.

The only big names that I think still can kick butt are Ferry and PvD, but even then they have become incredibly hit and miss.

Smaller djs are doing much better I think, recently seen Mat Zo and he was great!

Also liking Simon Patterson and Andy Moor.

I went to see Tiesto last week and though he was pretty good! :o

I'm a relative newbie to trance I suppose, but it sounded great live in a stadium. :)
 
I am liking Ashley Wallbridge recently, and Mat Zo still a fair few good trance tunes coming out per month but they are few and far between!
