As per title. Lets you rewind/skip etc.

It works very well, although it cant seem to handle HD Divx on my system (A64 3200). I had a 1.6GB/Hr program and it wouldnt encode on the fly - had to let it start transcoding for 20 mins before I started watching. Seems fine for normal xvid/divx though.

To be honest though I'll still use XBMC as the quality seems better, but for those relying on the 360 its a welcome addition, and hopefully it might encourage MS to just allow the 360 to accept all codecs.

o not heard of that vlc360 but i do use vlc for my media player along with media player classic ill give that a shot :)

Just tried the VLC one. Seems about the same speed as transcode beta 2 to me. The ability the play iso files is good (although I couldnt get it to work). Its good to see lots of developers doing something about codec support though :)

transcode360 beta 2 is a great improvement. works a treat and the quality is great.

watched about 6 episodes of lost series 2 with it last night.

not heard of VLC360 though, will give that a look today
