Transfer debt?

So Long story short my friend lent me his ebay account. He now owes ebay fees and its going to be passed onto a collection agency. If we both phone up the collection agency and say its my debt will i be able to transfer the responsibility to me? ( I wont be able to pay it off in full , only a set amount a month )

ebay debt collectors are LOL, just ignore them long enough they go away if its a small amount, think mine was £4 and they tried to lump on £8, that never got paid, nothing has ever come of it, credit record clean so **** em

What on earth was you selling to accrue enough fees to not be able to pay it in one lump.

is he able to setup a payment plan and get them to take the direct debit from your account.

My girlfriends contract phone is in my name and comes out of her account.

paypal chased me for 57$ after someone did a chargeback and paypal took the money from my account! the guy still had my item but paypal didnt care...

i ignored it and never heard from them again, all i had was an email from suposed debt collectors and nothing ever came of it

Just pay your mate what you want each month and leave his debt with him.
Why the hell would you want to take on someone elses debt!
