Transfer Nokia data to Samsung?

I currently have a Nokia 5500 and am looking at replacing it with a Samsung Solid.
Will I be able to transfer all the contacts, calendar entries etc. from the Nokia to the Samsung without too much hassle?

The easiest way would be to sync your 5500 with your PC (Outlook, Windows Address book, etc) and then sync your new Samsung with the same.

I know that both PC Suite for Nokia and PC Studio for Samsung will sync with Outlook, so your best bet would be to use Outlook as your master device and sync from one to the other. Both pieces of software use their own proprietary file format, so you're best having your phonebook converted to and from Outlook.

I use Outlook for all my contacts, despite not actually using Outlook on my PC (I never launch it, although all my contacts are updated via it.
