does transfer paper work in the same way as printable inkjet vynil? I know the main difference is in the way its applied to what ever surface you want it on but, does it print the same way?

I have no experience with printable inkJet vinyl but with transfer paper you would have to seal the ink in with a clear coat (lacquer) so the ink doesn't run when in the water. I don't know if inkjet vinyl requires the same method pre application.
As for printing....transfer paper prints like any other media type.

What are you trying to do exactly?

I want to make a logo that i can put on some acrylic, last time i printed one and cut the rest away by hand. It wasnt as clean as id have liked it to be. With the transfer paper it will peal away better and the logo should ne crisp.

What's the logo?
If you want I have a vinyl cutting machine so I could probably do your logo on self adhesive vinyl and send it to you by post.

You would just have to squeegee it onto the acrylic then jobs a good un.

For the purposes of admin - I wouldn't be charging for this. It would be a free friendly helper.

Let me know your thoughts.

I only want “ GTX 1080 FE “ in the nvidia style that they use.

All one colour or Nvidia style as in part grey part green?

The colour doesnt matter, im going to be painting over it and then removing the sticker so it can be backlit with led’.

Thats the style i want “ GTX 1080 FE “ in that same font, just took that from the backplate on my gpu.

the sticker would work the best if you could do that, it masks off the area that i want the led’ to shine through.

Give me a note of the dimensions you want the complete text to be (length x height) and i will knock something up tonight and send you a preview.
If you are happy with it i can pop it in the post for you.

Try 1x4” , should be about right, if that seems too condense then stretch it untill it looks good. Shouldnt have to be much bigger i imagine.

Will do. Its a very simple font to cut (no intricate parts) so should be doable at that size. Like i say i will knock one up tonight and give you a preview in this thread.
