Transferring all data from N80 to E65?

Hey all,

Got my new Nokia E65 turning up tomorrow, I was wondering, if I did a full backup of my N80 using the PC Suite would it be possible to restore it onto the E65 seeing as they have the same OS?

Or will I only be able to transfer contacts, photos etc. and applications will have to be reinstalled?

You *might* be able to do a backup and restore since they both run S60 v3.0. However, it's not guaranteed to work.

If you're only worried about your contacts and stuff, under the Tools folder there's an application called Data Transfer which will do it between S60 phones.

Good old Orange, phoned for an upgrade yesterday afternoon and it was with me this morning. Great phone so far, everything transferred over a dream and much nicer to use than the N80 and build quality feels better than the N95
