Hi Guys,

Please could you help, I've got a 30gb SSD which is completely filled but a 500gb HDD which still has about 200gb spare. What I would like to do is to swap all entire data from the SSD onto the HDD, normally I would have assumed this is a simple drag and drop process but the big problem is my OS is on the SSD.

Please could you advise how I can do this? For the record my computer knowledge is fairly simple.

well your gonna need your os on the ssd anyway so drag/drop the rest of the files? reinstall any programs on your hdd instead of the ssd

quickest way is to buy a bigger ssd,30gb is tiny

what mb do you have? if it supports caching that would be the best option

reduce your pagefile to 4gb or 2gb,that would free up some space, not much though

Are you planning to use the 500gb disk as a bootup disk?

Thats what I'm hoping to do, as poster below has mentioned the 30gb is way too small and I just literally have kb of space left. I want to transfer all data onto the HDD and set that up as the boot drive.
