Transferring files simultaneously

Say you have multiple drives internal and external.

What are your thoughts on this scenario...

Transferring say 500 GB from an 1.external to 2.internal drive via USB, whilst at the same time transferring another batch of files between 2 (drives 3 and 4)other internal drives?


I'm guessing this is perfectly fine and no more chance of errors than the usual single transfer?

Will be fine, but depending on your set up it may be faster to do the operations in series rather than paralel.

Thanks. I've not noticed a speed drop, have kept eyes on transfer rates
