Transferring RAID array to a new rig

This morning i woke up to a dead rig, i wont bore you with the details but after 5 hours of trying to fix, the idea of starting again with a new PC (was due anyway) was looking even more appealing.

My RAID array on my current (broken) rig was mirrored, and used the onboard FakeRaid on my motherboard.

My Question is, when i get my new PC, what's the best way to get my raid array back up and running. (I will be keeping the same HDD's from my old system)

Also, If i just plug in a single disk from my RAID array, will it be picked up as just a normal drive, with the existing partitions in tact and visible?

Any help greatly appreciated

Matt
