W8 is very similar apart from metro and that isn't a skin. It's a completly new segment based on WinRT

I had it on, and ran into too many problems, so i took it off. It come straight off the developers preview released by microsoft.

If I can get a theme to transform Windows 7 into Windows 98 I'd be a lot happier.

So much useless fluffy crap in windows 7 and it refuses to let me have a proper classic menu.

Why would you even want a classic menu? I so very rarely even use the menu. Most things are on the start bar already, and the rest I can just type a couple of letters into the search bit.
I use XP on laptop and another PC and hate it now compared to Win7.

Why not just drop EVERY icon into folders on your desktop and pretend its Win3.1?

Did I insult your mother? That's clearly not what I want.

I've been using a classic windows appearance since Windows 95, I am accustomed to it and don't appreciate it being unavailable in Windows 7. Thus if any pack was available I'd rather have a 98 appearance.

The level of "wtf'ness" is strong with this one. The Win 7 menu system is a country mile ahead of Win 98 in terms of ease of usability.

Why don't you just install the developers preview?
It's gob smackingly stable. The only thing I've found so far is it won't communicate correctly with iPhone/iPad if you need to sync or update.

Any way to just get the Windows 8 taskbar? Quite like the look of the block, dark grey Windows button instead of the Windows 7/Vista circle.
