Transformers: The Last Knight

I always found the Prime\Megatron fight from the end of the first movie to be funny. Prime gets chucked about like a wet sock, barely gets a hit in and is only saved by the raptors pelting Megatron with missiles and Sam sticking the Allspark into Megatrons chest. Then when Megatron is dead Prime says "You left me no choice brother", as if he had dominated the fight and beaten Megatron himself.

Just seen this :
  • no proper dialog, just one liner after one liner.
  • Every character was trying to be funny.
  • To Much action
  • too many characters.

5/10

I think this is the worst movie of 2017 for me. I mean it was truly terrible even by Transformer standards. The only use this movie has is to teach at film school how not to make a movie.

It is a terrible, rubbish film, however it is still not the worst of the franchise.

It definitely is, this one doesn't even have a viable "beginning middle end" like any basic story. It was a collection of robots, vfx and explosions put together in any order. The last one was terrible by any standard and even had continuity errors (Kelsey Grammar seen alive in a long shot after he dead). But you could argue there was at least some sort of beginning middle and end.

I disagree, I think that it is rubbish, but it is however probably less offensive than previous films, the pornography style of filming has been toned down. Bay's actually reigned this film in, it's still a dreadful film.

I still don't get why they totally changed Megatron again, with how human they made his face look he's pretty reminiscent of Lockdown from the previous movie. In the first 3 movies he had a very similar robot look but with a different vehicle mode, then in part 4 he was changed obviously but still retained a familiar face. Now in this he's just totally different from top to bottom.

Take Michael Bay far, far away from this, please! Terrible, awful film and each one has gotten progressively worse as time has gone on, and seems to just completely forget about continuity every film.

Let it lie for 3-4 years then reboot it with someone who cares!

Because Bay can't help himself. He's constantly tweaking and changing things without reason. Every film has been the same.

Yeah there's tweaking and then there's totally and completely changing, compare megatron in this to galvatron in part 4, they've always tweaked the designs slightly in robot mode and often changed the vehicle mode. But Megatron in this is like a totally different character compared to part 4, you would think given the vastly drastic change there would be some explanation as to what happened, but nope. Totally different body, old transformation sequence is back but no reason as to why.

I have no idea how Michael Bay keeps getting work :p

It's not even as if he has to do much actual directing, seeing as his films are 90% CGI garbage....

I have no idea how such garbage makes so much money. People complain about the lack of originality and the amount of reboots and sequels Hollywood churns out, but it's the people that keep paying to see this garbage that gives the studios the incentive to carry on making such films. If garbage sells, they'll keep on churning it out.

Amazingly though, it looks like the latest Transformers CGI fest is quite a bit down on what previous films made. Maybe some people are actually starting to realise, these films are **** and will continue be so.

Hated the first 2 Transformers films and I don't dare watch the others. The Last Knight looks really bad, watched the trailer and I think I can say I have seen it in its entirety already. Utter Bay-hem!

I've heard its bombed at the box office over here and overseas, even China.

Bad Boys is still his best film.

They probably seen the "fight like a girl" spot and went "nope".

These films consistently get panned, I don't know why anyone above the age of 13 or with an IQ above 40 even bothers with them any more.
