Hi guys, I recently got a new desktop with a Corsair Vengeance C70 (http://www.corsair.com/en/pc-cases/...c70-mid-tower-gaming-case-military-green.html) case.

I often go round my friends for LAN events, so I was wondering if anyone on here had done, or knew of any cases/solutions to safely transport a desktop PC?

I currently just put it back in the cardboard box that the case came in (that has a piece of polystyrene on the top and bottom. But I will need to reinforce the sides as they are thin.

My main concern is the CPU cooler or graphics card being dislodged during transit (I have an Alpenfohn K2 Mount Doom CPU cooler which is rather large).

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks,

Blazin

I would pull the graphics card out definitely. Better safe than sorry. As long as your dvd/blu ray drive is screwed in securely and you're not planning on using a courier you should be fine.
But tbh I pull the hdds/sdd, and my gpu everytime I move my tower around.

100% this

Remove the GPU and maybe transport that in it's own box..

That's really the only concern. The cooler should hold forever, no reason not too
