Transporting a Monitor - How do YOU do it?

Just wondering really as i'm off to a LAN on Saturday and i'm taking my U2410. Now obviously I don't want it getting damaged so i'm asking you lot - what do you do to prevent this?

a) Go just the monitor, strap it down in the car and hope
b) Put it back in the box and take it that way
c) Do you have a special carry case?

I'm particularly interested in c) - do any of you have a case to transport your monitor around in, and that you can recommend?

I just put the polystyrene covers over them and put them in the foot wells of the back of the car. As long as the monitor can't move around too much and there's nothing loose around in the car then your monitors should be fine.

With my 2007FP I used to just put it face down on the back seat and belt it in securely. But that was worth about £100 where the U2410 is at least three times that.

I wrap it in a blanket and then its in rear with the seat belt to keep it secure.

i put mine back in the original box and packaging , its really the only thing i keep the original box to

wrapped in a duvet then into the boot.....
