Guy I went to school with got caught out by this, mother of his kids left him and took the kids.

Everyone found out obviously, so was an interesting convo the next time I saw him.

No sympathy for the guy as how stupid to you have to be to get in that position.

Could have been worse - she could have left the kids behind

Of course if the scammers actually had anything and being such upstanding members of society, they will of course delete said vid once they receive the ransome

Presumably he was interviewing the bishop about someone on the other side of the screen; who knows, could have been her mum... or her dad.

This is definitely not why I have tape on the integrated webcams on my desktop/laptop. But that fact would help protect me from such scams.
