Currently own a Canon Powershot S120 exceptional little camera, quite good in low light. With a fast 1.8 lens at wide angle, Wi-Fi. Loads of scene modes like hdr and n
Handheld nightshot mode (takes three different exposures and blends them)
It's bad points are it's battery life it lasts half a day and small zoom 5x.

Just wondering what to update or bother.
    Max budget £300

Canon, Panasonic & Sony are the only manufacturers still active in that segment of the market. I suggest using www.camerapricebuster.co.uk to see what's available at your chosen budget then comparing specs and reviews on www.dpreview.com.
