Massive bump but is anyone still playing this?

I'm on s3 (username wiltshire) and it's drawing to a close - probably not going to do any more servers though as this one took up far too much of my time

I played it once, was in an Alliance that got to the end, I had about 18 villages, but that was back when I was weird.

Restarted about 6 months ago, but realised how terrible it was and stopped.

Massive bloody time sink.

Once you get really into raiding etc and have all-out clan wars which can happen at any time of the day or night you'll spend far too much time away from a computer just worrying about it.

Where to put your troops, keep them fed, defend against which waves and what time to send the defences to get them to arrive between waves... spam fake counterattacks mixed with real attacks to bash down your opponents, again have to be timed precisely.

You can lose too much to Travian.

I'm so glad I deserted this, despite randomly starting up an alliance of my own, and it ending up being the largest and most powerful of the server.

Made a couple friends from it though, including a relatively smoking hot blonde chick.

But at the end of the day, I was spending far too much time, and some money, on a PHP BASED BROWSER GAME

Urgh not Travian, not playing this game again! Got royally screwed over last time I played and it stopped being fun.
