Went to Derwent water yesterday. Weather wasn't as bad as it could have been, but it was still pretty grey and wet. I hoped to get some spot on shots of Treecreppers and Nuthatchs, but due to the adverse conditions the results weren't as good as I had hoped. Fingers crossed for better conditions next time.

A touch soft compared to your usual standard.
I'm assumiung it's cropped a lot?

ISO 800 as well....I think thats the first pic I've seen with the EXIF still there :p

Great pic though...my walk in the woods got cut short by a nasty wind and a lack of motivation! :(

Nice. They are lovely little birds :D and you caught that one well. What lens was that through?

Cheers. Sigma 300mm f2.8 as usual.

Yeah, pretty hefty crop on this one. More than I would have liked.

All my shots have the exif retained. ;) Yeah, the hight ISO didn't help at all. Im not 100% happy with the shot. I want to go back when its better light and get closer, get the ISO 400 or less and generally get a perfect shot if possible. Loads of Nuthatches about so I hope to get some good shots of them as well.

Great shot as usual, i quite like the composition on this one.

You should try get a few shots that can be put into wallpapers :).
