Hey everyone

I loved Tremonti's All I Was, and I'm really looking forward to his new album, Cauterize, out on the 9th June 2015. It'll be two albums released separately. I've just listened to their first single, Another Heart, and if anyone liked All I Was, they'll definitely like this! Any Tremonti fans on here?

 
I'm a massive Alter Bridge fan and love Tremonti's guitar work. All I Was is a solid album but I find his voice just isn't good enough to carry a whole album.

I'll give the new album a listen when it comes out though and see how it goes.

Love his first album, have probably listened to it more than Fortress. Didn't realise he had a new album out so soon - definitely looking forward to it now!

Someone posted about his 1st album on here and that's what got me into Tremonti then Alter Bridge, then Creed (a bit)

Saw Tremonti play Manchester student Union in 2013, it was EPIC!
 
Saw him support Slash at the Brixton Academy then at the Electric Ballroom and the shows have been some of the best I've seen. Can't wait for the set at Download this year and the new album the week before.
 
What a brilliant album, 1st listen wasn't convinced it was better than All I Was as a whole...2nd listen this is actually pretty damn good, 3rd listen damn good?? its even better than that, 4th listen just wow and the cycle continues, its immense...Arm Yourself and Tie the Noose are monstrous tracks but the whole album is just so good.

Instumentally its amazing, I'm just never going to be sold on his voice. Its brilliant in the alter bridge tracks working alongside Myles', but alone it just seems like he's trying too hard
 
His voice isn't of the quality of Myles's, but to be fair there are very very few who have a voice that comes close. I think this album shows a huge step forward in all aspects including his singing, its a personal thing but I really like his voice and how he uses it on these tracks.

His progressions from the likes of Words Darker than their wings and waters rising is noticeable and if that continues on to the next alter bridge album then they will have 2 accomplished singers to call on.
 
Totally agree, this is the album he has been wanting to make for decades. Now he has the maturity and the money to put it out there.
 
Just purchased this, and I'll have a listen to it at lunch. I've been looking forward to it for a while though!
 
The more I listen to this album, the more I like it. You can definitely tell that his voice has got more used to being lead vocals. It isn't quite as raw as it was on All I Was. You can't ever compare him to Myles. You can't really compare many to him to be honest, but I think Tremonti has done an admirable job as a lead vocalist on this album. My favourite songs at the moment are Dark Trip, Cauterize, Fall Again and Flying Monkeys, but these change a lot!
 
I was sceptical about this earlier on in the thread, but it's definitely an improvement on All I Was. Hi voice has certainly improved, and there's some great songs on the new album.
