I think there is some coincidence here.

I don't think this has anything to do with physics the name and promo poster suggests some form of image rendering. Besides didn't Intel buy Havok a few years back? Seems odd that an Intel technology that uses x86 would be running on a AMD GPU.

Looks like GPU Phyics is finally running on the AMD GPU.

+1,

Looked like the new unreal engine can deliver gpu physics outwith PhysX, it was evident on the PS4 demo vid, it's not confirmed, but it's looking like it.

Considering the likely amount of titles probably using the engine when it arrives, great to see it at last available on all vendors.

(^known to be running gpu PhysX)

Yes it should, I don't see AMD locking anything out, but it's not impossible.

Titan aside, if it's compute based which I imagine it will be, then the 6 series will struggle, but that could be moot to a degree if it's just an announcement with no inbound soon to be released titles supporting it.

Is that monster overclock you've got int the heaven vally thread stable map? How many volts you using for that? Impressive's not the word...

I've got my 7970 doing 1200/1700 in bf3 but the fan noise!!

It seems like like the fruitions of their labours are only now becoming evident.

They must have been silently beavering away in the background what with all the next gen console development and new technologies appearing.

I want the 13.3 drivers and a 25% improvement in performance please.

You never know.;)

I also want to beat one of greg's titan's in a benchmark. :p

If it wasn't for the fact that Nvidia get release performance on the nail and that full performance is available@launch(I'm led to believe;)), who knows on an AMD favoured BM:rolleyes:...

...But the realist in me believes there's considerably more oomph in that there Titan!

Pricing aside it is a Peperami!

Are you talking to me Dave?

I'll answer anyway. :p

Its benchmark stable. Its not long term stable. Max my card can do without artifacts is around 1300 core and 1823 memory.
