Hi All

I'm trying to find some wood to finish off the top of a gate I made last year but I'm struggling to find what I'm looking for.

I'd like something with a triangular section, so water will run off, it needs to be a bit over 100mm wide by about 50mm high, does anyone know anywhere I might get such a thing?

If not I'll give my local timber yard a call and see what they suggest when they are open again tomorrow.

Anywhere with a decent RAS will be able to do a couple of 45degree rips for you and sort that out - you'll struggle to get that sort of timber in that size and treated.

Hmmm, looks like I'll have to give them a bell, hopefully they can sort that out for me.

The rest of the gate is made with tantalised wood but I'm assuming with it having been ripped down I'll need to treat it with something on the top edges to get the water to run down? Any recommendations? I'm not really looking to treat the whole gate, just the top edges of the top rails...
