So as it reads - slots to use are 1, 4 and 6

There are 3 revisions of that board and not one mention trifire,
but they all mention trisli.

That's why I took the punt on one having to be a dual card.

Hopefully someone with more AMD mobo knowledge could advise further.

Well I couldn't even fit the card into the black PCIe slot due to the wires going into the back of card 1 directly above it :(

I think my best bet is to switch to X79 which I will do at the end of the month :D
