TRIM - Quick question

I've installed a Crucial M4 128GB and installed Windows 7 64 bit and a couple of games on it and I'm wondering if TRIM is automatically enabled or do I have to do something to enable it?

Is the SATA channel running in IDE or AHCI mode? I think TRIM only works in AHCI mode, otherwise that's all you need to check.

Yeah it's in AHCI mode. Is that all I have to do?

For windows 7, i believe so.

For TRIM to work you only need Windows 7 and a SSD which supports it. The SATA controller mode does not matter. Grab SSD life and this will confirm TRIM is working. There's a DOS command also to check it but SSD life is handy
