Trine - a physics-oriented, side-scrolling action/platformer

Downloading off the press access steam account... better be worth the download time :p

I've just been playing for past 3 hours, and so far I've found it quite good. If I wasn't at work at 6am I'd still be playing it.

Time for bed.

Absolutely loving this. I've been taking my time, trying to get to every chest, and every single exp pot. I'm on mission 4 at the moment I think, and I've clocked up 2.5 hours already!

Love creating precariously balanced planks and boxes with the Wizard to reach locations. Spend most of my time with him, or the Thief.

Roll on 'net based multiplayer!

Been doing the same thing. I can see how you could probably storm through the game quite quickly, but the secrets/achievments have slowed me down. Some of them are just so damn cunning ;)

Me and a mate played this game for HOURS last night and we are totally enthrawled by it. I really think its one of the best games I've played...ever!

I love the art direction, the music is fantastic and above all the gameplay is just fun! Plus, I am a sucker for co-op games.

The Thief is a little bit OP, though, once you get the Fast Quiver upgrade. 4 arrows fired very quickly in succession makes mincemeat of most things.

So I tend to use the Thief for movement and combat, and switch to the wizard just to build contraptions for access. Rarely use the Knight - as someone said on the Steam forums....surely he should take less damage from hits, considering he wears armour?

The knight's much better than the thief when there's a bunch of bad guys in a group. The kick move might actually be too good as you can run about booting things everywhere and rarely take a hit, and throwing large objects will crush 4 or 5 at a time. The more I get used to each character the more i'm constantly switching between them - quickly blocking and kicking an enemy into a spike trap, switch to thief to shoot a range foe or grappling to safety, then quickly dropping a box on someone as the wizard. It's such a good game :)

I'm struggling to draw shapes as wizard using gamepad. Is it possible? I broke my arm so using mouse + keys is really awkward.

I've been using a 360 pad from the start and it works fine.

What gamepad are you using? Some people on the Trine forums have reported that it doesn't work properly with some Logitech pads as well as some other brands.

Just played through the first couple of levels and this game is really refreshing to see. It got some great dynamics to it and the visually are brilliant.

Sort of reminds me of old games with a couple of today's game concepts inserted. Very much recommend this game to all.

GRRRRR **** ****** S***** GRRRNNNGGGHHHHHH!!!

Massively, unbelievably, incredidbly frustrating last mission. I think I'm on my 15th or so attempt. Given up for now.

Whoever designed that should be shot.

People who own it, how much gameplay is there? Loved the demo and really want it but I don't know if it will be worth £20.

Help me get off the fence on this one guys.
