I've got a GTX 470, and have used dual display for a while now.

I've also got a third screen id like to use, im sure this is possible?

The first two are connected via DVI, the third i have an Mini-HDMI - HDMI adapter (supplied with the card) but it wont fit alongside the two DVI cables.

Can anyone recommend a cable and/or adapter that i could use to connect it up? the monitor has VGA + DVI outputs.

Thanks in advance.

If your just using 3 screens for desktop then you can plug the 3rd one into a GPU thats used for PhysX - for gaming and other accelerated 3D you will need an SLI setup with 200 series or higher GPUs to run 3 screens.

is this multi screen for gaming like a eyefinity setup? or just three different screens showing different stuff (movie/internet/program)?

cause it is possible by just adding a cheap nvidia graphics card to another slot, I got a GTX295 and a 9800gt in a computer and the nvidia control panel will allow the 9800gt be either a physX card or just another display adaptor when i connect a monitor into it(making 3 in total)

Example usage:
My two existing screens will be used for Guild wars 'windowed modes' and the third for watching tv shows/films via media player.

I do a lot of web design/ 3d modelling / multi windowed bits around windows (hence my need for 8gb of memory).

I've got a GTX 260 i could connect in, would it work well in a pci-e 8x lane?
