Trip to Edinburgh

Will pretty much eat anything. I'll obviously be trying to grab some haggis while up there but a side from that yeah pretty much anything goes.
 
there's a butcher in portobello that does some cracking (award winning) haggis although pretty much every butcher claims theirs to be award winning!!
Also in portobello (if you fancy a jaunt to the beach) the espy pub does some good food
roseleaf in leith is also pretty decent food/drink
wannaburger for cheap fast food in town
thai lemongrass up at the meadows is good, service can be iffy! the blackbird just down the street from that is decent too

one thing i've found, if you're out and about it fairly stings the wallet!

go to the bow bar if you want some whisky too

I've always liked Gourmet Burger Kitchen at the west end of George Street (just off Princes Street). Been a while but also liked Mother India's Cafe, Infirmary Street.
