Triple Monitors

I recently had a triple monitor setup with 3 ASUS VE247H's. Two of the ones I bought recently had horrible colour and so I returned them.
Now that ive had time to think about it, I know for a fact I cant NOT go triple monitors ever again so Im looking to either go with:
3 ips monitors
OR
2 ips and a 120hz.
The dilemma is that I am an avid gamer, I spend 90% of my time on my PC gaming on FPS' (currently BO2 and BF3) with a 7950 that Im sure Ill crossfire. As im in full time education not enough money can be put into my rig at the moment to maintain 120fps at highest settings on new games so is 120hz pointless? Im thinking its a pretty "future-proofed" purchase since I dont think much will be released soon apart from 4k maybe.
Im also not sure if the one 120hz and two IPS' flanking will look weird since ill have two monitors with great colour reproduction and one with not-so-nice-looking colours. Has anyone got a setup like this?

Im bound to crossfire my 7950's soon....

Any thoughts / suggestions?

You don't need to have 120fps to get the benefits of the 120hz panel, which is the faster pixel response time (better fluidity of motion).

I don't know whether 1 x 120hz and 2 x ips is a good idea for you because I don't know how the outputs work. Surely you can't join then in eyefinity because the refresh rates will be different? Iknow it would be awkward on nvidia because of the output restrictions

Another option to consider is 120hz + a 2560x1440 as you should be able to get one of those for about the same / less than 2x 1080p ips

My current monitor has the same time response but the 120hz is supposed to have almost no ghosting at all right?
I forgot to mention but I'm not looking to play on all 3, just the 120hz and have the ips ones as my web browser or movies.
If I don't game on all 3 then there won't be a problem.
If anyone here has this setup, could you please upload a photo.
