Tripod required for travelling!

Bought it direct from them via Aliexpress, asked for regular post vs DHL so no hassle with follow up costs / admin charges

It's now gone up to £79 though.

Sounds good — spring loaded leg angle locks would be a nice feature on the Q-666c

Yeah it's only a little thing but something that swayed me that and just a little plain black carry bag plus spikes.

The comparison of the tripods in the standing position is a good insight to how they can be used on location.
As over height is a factor to consider.

When I was in Iceland taking photos of Northern Lights in a rocky field in the freezing cold night with my EOS 7D DSLR. All I had was my Gorillapod which only stands some 30-40cm height !

I would have loved a taller tripod which would have made the shoot a whole lot easier !
