Be interested to see how it goes. I am 6ft 5 and always struggle to find a big bike. I'm on a CB1300 at the moment and looking at this and a GS.

Ide hold off on the GS for the time being as a new watercooled R1250GS is in the testing phase, which'll impact on S/H prices.

It wont affect prices much. There are already some great bargains on new GS's with free accessories or £1k towards the finance, and if you look at the prices of the old 1150GS they are still incredibly strong.
It will be interesting to see what happens with the 1250 water cooled bike. Initial rumours are that its very good, but presumably it will be heavier than the current bike, and the air cooling and subsequent noise adds a lot of the bikes character.
I'd also be a bit reluctant to buy a new BMW model - they always seem to have niggles, and it took a good few years for them to get the 1200GS right. I know they have been testing this one longer than usual, but even so its a more complex bike.
