trouble cleaning 350D sensor

I clean my mirror by the same method, only if it has stubborn dust on it, but i`m very very careful, usually i just used a rocket blower as the mirror is pretty delicate as its a moving part
the focus pane is awkward to reach though so i dont normally bother with it

I've tried a rocket blower to no avail.

The dust got in there after a particularly gusty morning climbing up Catbells in The Lake District. The strongest gusts I've ever known. We had to turn back after nearly getting lifted off the side ot the ridge by the strength of the gusts. After that, big speck in my viewfinder.

What you need is to go into a camera shop and ask for a sensor cleaning swipe, they should give you 1 for free usually. You can then use this swipe for the viewfinder glass/mirror to clean stuck particles of dust and strands of dust from by wrapping the swipe in a pecpad then moistening it with some eclipse flewing. the "Sensor swipe" from Copperhill is not thin or flexible enough to reach the viewfinder mirror effectively but the highstreet camera shop one certainly is.

Here's what my one looks like:

hmm.. maybe try a cotton bud? although i`d be extra carefull

As for the wind I had a similar expeience when climbing High pike the other week, was lovely at the base, temps in the late 20`s , bright sun, very little cloud, a light breeze, climbed up with my bike and a backpack full of gear. But up the peak it was very gusty, and felt a lot colder, although the sun was scorching me. Thought about turning back a few times
I only changed the lens once up there and luckily avoided getting any crap inside the chamber.

Didnt stop me falling off my bike a few times on the way back down though heh :p
