Hi all trying to install windows on a brand new 320 Seagate, on someone's computer. Problem is every time I try and boot from the CD it doesnt read it! The CD works fine as I have tried it in my computer. The computer has 2 optical devices, 1)an old CD-RW (Lite-On) and 2)a brand new Sony 
/) DVD-RW. no matter which device I use it still wont read the CD! any idea what the problem could be? And yes I have made sure the device Im trying to install from the CD is set as master It just won't read the CD with either device, the DVD-RW is brand new!
My only thoughts are - duff drive? I have tried another CD as well, but that didn't work either!

EDIT: Oh Poo almost forgot to say am getting an error ATAPI incompatible on the Sony DVD-RW when it is set as slave :/ any ideas?
